Song for a Friend ...

Yeah … This is my shout out to my friend Iram Leon … I love you man …

Let me tell you, the story of a friend many years ago, In a place that was nice where it rained and snow. It’s hard for me to share this rhyme indeed.  About my friend Iram Leon that I met while at PUC. Iram, did you know that you’re my Hero. Strong and mighty like the emperor Nero. PUC was it’s name, but no one really cares, Pay us cash, and forever I’m on welfare. Iram’s a good friend indeed, reminisce about our day together while at PUC. He inspired  those who knew him well, like me, the wack MC, and others can’t you tell. Always Bright and smart, like a big brother, sometimes for his own good,
Grew up in Mexico and not in L.A. with the boyz in the Hood, with the Boyz in the Hood.  But he’s legit, not a fake, what you see is what you get, He’s the real deal, like Evander Holyfield.

2 majors 2 churches was the path that my friend was on, buy nothing has gone wrong, so it’s that same old song, the Master musician is still playing the same hit song, because in God’s perfect plan there hasn’t anything gone wrong.

For the way to discover your purpose in this life, is to live your life, can’t complain or strive, to change the cards you’ve been handed by life’s Maker, you got to face life’s trials with God’s assurance and be a Victor.

Like my friend Iram Leon, the A-Rod look alike, who’s a winner and not a faker.

Some things you cannot change, but you can change your attitude and your response to life’s trials and setbacks. Setbacks are just opportunities to see the Divine set you up for something greater. Where did I get that, I think I read it somewhere.

So now I’m back finishing this rhyme about my friend Iram Leon, who would of thought or known, that this child prodigy that was one day born, would also be reborn, as a child of His Only friend, yes you know name, because He stays the same, that’s part of his game.

Dear friend I hope and pray that all may go well, and that you’ll stay the same and never change, but we real and true like always, with God by your side, you’ll be safe today and always.

I sign out with a shout to you from the California, your old home, your old state, and the one that helped to form ya! I hope this rhyme has a brought a smile and a grin to your face my friend, I trust we’ll meet again, for this is not the end, but just a trial in the life a good man. Iram j. Leon is his name, and that’s the game plan.

Matthew 1 Commentary on the nature of the Holy Spirit

"Jesus Our Blessed Lord was conceived by the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Godhead. It is interesting that unlike Mormons who believe that God the Father is a semi-god who came at night and had actual physical relations with Mary the mother of Jesus Christ, Protestant Christians who follow the text of Scripture have discovered that while the Holy Spirit is a person, His nature is spiritual, and not physical or bodily in form as a human being. Hence, the Bible writer Matthew uses the Greek work for "Spirit", "pneuma", which is neutral in gender, and not male or female. What a wonderful insight into the Incarnation and birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

A Prayer that will make you Laugh: Lord, I need a JOB

A prayer that will make you laugh:

"Oh, God please, pretty please, help me to get a job today. You know I really need a job. I don't have a job right now, and need money to pay my bills and to give you a tithe and offering. Oh, God, please, I am very desperate. I know you want to give me a job. Please, I know today you will give me a job. So I will wait patiently here in my bed this morning, until I hear from you. I will wait for that job. I will because my faith is great in the God who gives jobs! I will wait patiently on you, Lord. I believe it to be so. So be it. Amen."

PS, This prayer was made by someone who was in bed all morning from 7am to 12pm and who needed a job. Unfortunately, they forgot that God only gives jobs to those who go and apply and interview where jobs are being given! ...

Lesson to learn: If you need a job, pray, but also go where jobs are being given. : )

WHAT DO DO WHEN YOU HAVE WRONGED A FELLOW CHURCH MEMBER OR SOMEONE HAS WRONGED YOU IN THE CHURCH?

You can't deny it! Many sincere and sometimes well intentioned church members try to solve personal issues by taking them public, which very often if not always does more harm than good to those involved and to the church at large. So how should one act, when one has wronged someone or said anything hurtful or harmful against someone who is the least of these? ... The Bible is clear in Matthew 18:15-20, that any personal matter should be dealt with personally, by going and speaking with the person who has committed a sin, and doing a spiritual work to help that person experience God's forgiveness and reconciling Grace. Never should a personal matter be taken public just to "give it to the other person," or to chastise or punish them. That is not the goal of Christianity or of the followers of Jesus. In fact, the Bible goes as far as saying that if we bring our gifts or offerings to the altar, and there remember that someone has something against us, we ought to leave our gift there and go and be reconciled with that person, before giving our offering at God's altar. Amazing! We are called to be imitators of Christ and to carry a ministry of reconciliation. We must go and make things right, even when we are not the instigators, by going in Christian love and talking to that person privately or with two or three witnesses. Then, the love of God and the peace that passes all understanding will be in us and in our churches. May God bless us today as we seek to follow the light who is Jesus Christ, and that we may also be smaller lights that shine in a world where Grace can only be found and given by those who have experienced it in their lives. God speed!

The following is an excerpt from the book "Thoughts from the Mount of Blessings, pg. 58-59" for further meditation and study.

"Be reconciled to thy brother." Matthew 5:24.
The love of God is something more than a mere negation; it is a positive and active principle, a living spring, ever flowing to bless others. If the love of Christ dwells in us, we shall not only cherish no hatred toward our fellows, but we shall seek in every way to manifest love toward them.
Jesus said, "If thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught against thee; leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift." The sacrificial offerings expressed faith that through Christ the offerer had become a partaker of the mercy and love of God. But for one to express faith in God's pardoning love, while he himself indulged an unloving spirit, would be a mere farce.
When one who professes to serve God wrongs or injures a brother, he misrepresents the character of God to that brother, and the wrong must be confessed, he must acknowledge it to be sin, in order to be in harmony with God. Our brother may have done us a greater wrong than we have done him, but this does not lessen our responsibility. If when we come before God we remember that another has aught

against us, we are to leave our gift of prayer, of thanksgiving, of freewill offering, and go to the brother with whom we are at variance, and in humility confess our own sin and ask to be forgiven. If we have in any manner defrauded or injured our brother, we should make restitution. If we have unwittingly borne false witness, if we have misstated his words, if we have injured his influence in any way, we should go to the ones with whom we have conversed about him, and take back all our injurious misstatements.
If matters of difficulty between brethren were not laid open before others, but frankly spoken of between themselves in the spirit of Christian love, how much evil might be prevented! How many roots of bitterness whereby many are defiled would be destroyed, and how closely and tenderly might the followers of Christ be united in His love!
