How Should Christians Respond to Osama bin Laden's Death?

How Should Christians Respond to Osama bin Laden's Death?
If God would post a comment on Facebook or Twitter, today, a day after Osama Bin Laden's death, what would He say:
"Justice is finally served. I'm glad Bin Laden is finally dead."
"In Hell. Joining Stalin, Hitleer, Hussein. I"ll keep the fires burning. Party on dudes!"
"Eye for an Eye, Tooth for a tooth, life for life. He took 3,000 lives on 9/11. He deserves to loose his life too."
How are these Bible text for perception and gut check?
Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live? Ezekiel 18:23
For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live! Ezekiel 18: 32

Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?’Ezekiel 33:11

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
I really wonder what God would post. I'm not a prophet, so I can't be 100% sure. However, I can't seem to fathom the angel in Heaven, The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit throwing a big celebration bash. For the life of me, I can't seem to reconcile the idea that a loving God would rejoice at even the sight of one of his unrepentant children's death. I just can't see God and the angels in Heaven celebrating (like many are doing here on earth), now that Bin Laden is Dead. If anything, I believe there is sorrow and pain in God's heart over the death of any and every person who ever walks the face of this earth. Here is a question to ponder and meditate on: Will the Holy Trinity (Spirit, Son, and Father) weep and cry and the final retribution of sinners and the final extermination of Lucifer the Fallen Angel who became the Devil and Satan? ... Just a question to stimulate your pure mind. As always, be known for your acts of kindess and love and tenderness to others, and not just because of your beliefs, no matter how doctrinally sound they may be. "If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth " 1 john 3:17-18, NIV.

  1. This is the same thought that has been coming to my head since I heard the news. I wondered to myself why am I not rejoicing along with the other Americans. The question came to my mind as well about what would God say to this news. I'm glad to read that we should not rejoice but i instead mourn for this person that was still a child of God. Despite what he has done we cannot and should not be happy that a fellow human brother has been killed.

  2. God is both just and merciful. In the ark of the covenant, the law was inside the ark (God's Justice), while the cover of the ark of the covenant was the mercy seat, the place where atonement was made ( At-One-ment). God's Shekinah Glory rested upon the Mercy Seat. Thus we see that God's law is covered by God's mercy. Though we are sinners, God can forgive us for breaking his law because of his Mercy! Hallelujah! May it always be that way.
