Here is Your Word for Today:

Then the LORD answered me and said:

      “ Write the vision
      And make it plain on tablets,
      That he may run who reads it.
       For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
      But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
      Though it tarries, wait for it;
      Because it will surely come,
      It will not tarry.
       “ Behold the proud,
      His soul is not upright in him;
      But the just shall live by his faith."
Habakuk 2:2-4
All of God's promises, revelations, and visions are for an appointed time. God's time is different that man's time. "A day with the Lord is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a Day". God's promises and revelations sometimes appear to take too long or not according to our time. Yet God, who knows the end from the beginning, knows exactly when we need the things that we need. His timing is perfect. So "wait" on the Lord, and on His perfect timing. Wait for God's "Plan A" in your life, instead of settling for "Plan B". God has a William Levy (Spanish Soap Opera Star) or  Matthew McConaughey (Sexiest Man Alive in 2011) for you, but instead you end up settling for Piolin (Spanish radio host in Los Angeles) or a Mini-me (Austin Powers movie) look alike boyfriend or spouse! ... Wait instead on the Lord and His Promises. For on time, that is what He will be. Live then according to "faith" and not just sight. Believe, trust, and wait on God and His perfect promises for Your Life. When you do, you will certainly begin to live the life of faith in God and in Jesus Christ. Take time today to develop your faith in God and to learn to trust Him with your present life and with your eternal life. He sent Jesus Christ to die for your sins, that you might receive the forgiveness of sins, and be born again to a new life of faith in God and in the Gospel. Choose today to believe in Jesus Christ as Your Savior, Lord, and Friend, and believe all of God's promises for you! "The Just shall live by faith."
