Trading your Every Day Speech for a God Instructed Tongue

Here is Your Word for today:

"The Sovereign LORD has given me a well-instructed tongue,
   to know the word that sustains the weary.
He wakens me morning by morning,
   wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed." Isaiah 50:4

Go out today in the name of Jesus derail trains of hopelessness and discouragement. Blow up cabooses of hate, envy, anger, and discontentment. Take the very Word that God is giving you today and transmit hope, love, peace, joy, and courage to everyone who you encounter today. And as you do so, rejoice and be glad. 

Thought for the Day: God has given you this new day, by wakening you up this morning to listen to His Instruction, just like Jesus the Christ did every morning. God has a a hand picked agenda for you today. He wants to give you divine instruction and a divine mission just like He did to Jesus Christ every morning. After all, God wants to make disciples of all men, and desires to make you a "fisher of men". Today, as you receive God's agenda as yours, take God's message and words of hope with you to "sustain" and help those in your path today. Follow the road less traveled today, and as you go, give hope, courage, love, and faith to those whom you encounter. By doing so, you may very well indeed be fulfilling the very words of this passage: "He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed. "

Prayer for the Day: "And Now Lord, may your light of Jesus Christ shine through me. May you give others hope, love, faith, and courage by my words, smile, and presence. May the Holy Spirit fill me today with more of the presence of Jesus. In Christ's name, Amen."
